Daniel Carter - alto and tenor saxophones, Bb clarinet, flute, and trumpet Chris Welcome - guitar Shayna Dulberger - bass John McLellan - drums This recording represents the third meeting between veteran multi-instrumentalist, Daniel Carter, and the trio of Chris Welcome, Shayna Dulberger, and John McLellan. Carter is best known as a member of the collective groups Other Dimensions in Music and Test. He is a mainstay of the New York Avant-Garde scene, and has played at concerts and festivals around the world. Welcome, Dulberger, and McLellan released their first record as a trio, “Wound, Unwound, and Within” in early 2006. As a trio they have performed in New York and the Northeast, and have collaborated with musicians such as Jack Wright, Nate Wooley, Blaise Siwula, and many others.
